Pending trip to Guatemala

After noticing a year opening up in front of us in which it would fit, T and I have decided to do something adventurous and spend 6 months voluntary working in Guatemala.

I'm setting up this blog to keep in touch with family and friends who may have a passing interest in whether I am still alive.

It's also the first time I've done anything like this, so this is something of a test post to see how it all works. I guess I'll click 'publish' and see...
